Day 1 / Arrive in Delhi
You will arrive in the city of culture, heritage and contrasts – Delhi. .After some rest, you will embark on a tour of New Delhi, the part of the city that was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens under the British reign. With your personal guide and chauffeur, you will visit iconic monuments of the Mughal heritage including the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb and towering Qutab Minar.
Day 2 / Delhi
Today your morning will be at leisure. In the afternoon, you will set off on an exploration of the charming Old Delhi, the erstwhile capital of the Mughal dynasty between the 17th and 19th centuries.Led by a local English-speaking guide, you will begin with an exhilarating cycle rickshaw ride to the Jama Masjid through the bustling Chandni Chowk and its back roads. You will be guided on an enchanting journey through the living heritage of Chandni Chowk, looking at the old archways, intricate doors and captivating bazaars.
Day 3 / To Jaipur
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, you will be driven to the second leg of the famed Golden Triangle, Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will check in at your luxury hotel.Carrying the sobriquet ‘Pink City’, the palaces, forts and architecture of Jaipur have a deep influence of Hindu, Jain and Mughal styles. The city is known for its colorful cloth and handicrafts bazaars, as well as its rich heritage.
Day 4 /Jaipur
After breakfast at your hotel, you will head to the majestic Amber Fort, where you will ascend this hilltop fort on an elephant’s back or jeep. You will also visit the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing – dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of traditional Indian hand block textile printing techniques. In the Fort’s shadow and a short walk through the cobbled streets of Amber, the museum is housed in a restored mansion and displays a collection of block printed textiles alongside images, tools and related objects.
Day 5 / To Agra via Fatehpur
You will be whisked away to visit the Taj Mahal. The orange rays of the setting sun bathe the marble monument in a magical hue. For an idyllic setting for spectacular photographs,you can instead be taken to Mehtab Bagh, which offers unencumbered views of the monument,sans the crowds.
Day 6 / Agra – Delhi
You will proceed to discover more of Agra. You will visit the Agra Fort to study the varied architectural styles of the complex, built by successive Mughul rulers. You will also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Duala, situated opposite the Taj Mahal.
Day 7 /Departure
Enjoy your breakfast at the resort.The day is free for you to relax, unwind and wander around at your own pace. Indulge in a sublime Ayurvedic spa massage at your resort.
