With the Ashes now lost it’s time to look forward as ever and think about the next exciting England cricket tour to Sri Lanka in 2018.
Sri Lanka is lined with amazing golden sandy beaches , turquoise blue waters and everyone is mad about cricket. And with the England cricket team touring in October 2018 , now is the time to start planning a Sri Lankan adventure. But first a bit more about this wonderful country.
The oceans are rich with life, and amazing coral reefs. The deeper waters are home to marine giants such as the Blue Whale, the largest animal to have ever lived. Sri Lanka boasts a rich natural heritage, with amazing wildlife and incredibly for an island of its size iconic animals such as leopards, elephants and sloth bears. The island is also regarded as a biodiversity hotspot teeming with endemic birds, reptiles, amphibians as well as plant species found nowhere else on earth. With numerous man-made lakes and rivers running through its interior, lush tropical rainforests, mangroves and coastal lagoons, misty highlands laden with waterfalls and dry zone scrub jungles, Sri Lanka comprises of a wide range of picturesque landscapes and natural habitats which can be compared to that of a much larger continent.

The provisional dates for the cricket are:
1st Test Galle 12th – 16thOctober
2nd Test Colombo 20th – 24th October
3rd Test Kandy 29th October- 2nd November.
ODIs will be played in Dambulla, Kandy and Colombo – 5 in total.
The T20 game will be in Colombo
